How to make a Recycled CD Owl 

 

Hello my Fellow Crafty Witches  Today we are going to learn how to turn  Junk that everyone has
into Art for all to enjoy

This kitchen owl was made from salvaged kitchen supplies and a CD which is reflective and can help keep away hawks or other birds from your veggie garden.

You can use the items  below or Add in your own Ideas and Modify this Craft to Suit your needs

What you need is a CD  use an old  AOL  CD Disk   This is the Body

Next you will need Bottle Caps for the Eyes

Next you will need Buttons

2 Jar Lids for the Eyes  Type of Jar doesn't matter

The Feet are made from Hose Clamps

You could also use  Copper or Metal Wire too



The Wings are made from Dessert Forks  you  will need 10 of them

The Nose is made from a  Metal Spoon or  metal Spork

You will need   E6000 Glue to Glue Everything together

You might also need Wire  and poke holes to wrap wire for the feet   and to hang it

Instructions

1.Glue the Bottle Caps to the inside of the  Lid jars and Glue the buttons to the inside of the Bottle Caps
you have your Eyes Set them aside to Dry

2.  using Pliers or  Shears snip the end of the Forks off  you want the handles  use the end of the forks  in the owl as the Eyebrows or Nose using  Glue the Fork handles to the back of the CD  with the E6000 Glue  let it Dry

3  Glue the Eyes to the CD on the Front

4 now for the nose/ Beak  take the Spork for the nose and Glue it into place between the Eyes
use the handles for the eyebrows

for the Feet use  the Hose Clamps threaded with Wire  you will need to poke a coupe holes into the CD for this and your almost done

all you need is Glue a hook to the back and use Floral String or Fishing String  to hang in a Tree and enjoy
