Soccer Card - by Sandy Hancock

Soccer anyone?

All three of my grandchildren play soccer so I thought that I had better come up with a soccer birthday card!  The rhinestones might make this more for a girl, but again, it needed some kind of pop!  You'll see a plain version of it below. And maybe you will come up with an even better idea!
Please tell me which of the three versions you like the best or what you might do differently.

Here is the card without the arrow.  It's a little plain.

Again, I am trying to figure out how to finish it.  I could add the arrow with no rhinestones.
Here is another possibility.   Add three black candy dots under the greeting.

Here is how you get the "Soccer ball". You have already taken the black hexagons out of this thinlit.  Just place the black cut out card stock over some white c/s and find yourself a soccer ball using the #4 Circle thinlit.

Here is how you make it:
  1.  Run a 5 1/4"x 4" piece of white card stock through the Honeycomb Embossing Folder.
  2. Use the #3 Oval Framelit (smallest to largest) to cut an oval out of the white embossed c/s.
  3. Run a 5 1/2"x 4 1/4" piece of black card stock through the Big Shot using the Hexagon Hive Thinlit
  4. Pull out the black hexagons and place them around on the white embossed c/s.
  5. Use the #2 Oval Framelit to cut an oval out of a piece of black c/s and place it behind the opening in the white c/s.
  6. Stamp "Happy Birthday" on a piece of white c/s and slip it in behind the black c/s opening.
  7. Add what is left of the black Hexagon Hive cut out and adhere it to a piece of white c/s.
  8. Use the #4 Circle Framelit to cut out a soccer ball.  Just move the framelit around until you find a spot to cut out that looks like a soccer ball:)
  9. Add a "POP" of some kind.  I used the What's Up! Punch to get the arrow.
  10. The white embossed piece is mounted onto a black card with dimensionals.
